Chan Thomas was also the author of The Adam and Eve Story (partially, apparently, either edited or classified by the CIA) and its follow-up, Postlude. In 1972 he taught a course in ESP at the UCLA Experimental College. His work in ESP research is an expansion on his hypothesis, which he developed out of his studies on the effects on human physiology of the low density magnetic field environment of outer space. He was also considered to be an authority in the field of cataclysmology: magnetic pole sifts, etc. He also believed it beneficial to intertwine research into ESP with the study of cataclysmology.
