Early silver bellied cann with step molded foot, pear shaped body, and double scroll handle having an acanthus leaf thumbpiece. Later monogram ''MW'' on front of body. Maker's mark ''SS'' in oval cartouche near handle and early engraving ''W.C.C'' in block letters inside foot. Repair to lower handle joint. 4-3/4''h. Total approximate weight 9.4 troy oz.
