Rabbi Chaim Eliezer Shapira (1871 - 1937), also known as the Minchas Elazar, was the son of the Darchei Teshuva and the Rabbi of Munkatch. He was one of the great rabbinical leaders of Hungary before World War II and fought passionately to preserve Jewish tradition.

Condition: Very good condition, tiny piece torn off from bottom corner effecting a few letters.
