Copper in brown uncirculated condition. Both sides depict playing cards.
Initially apprenticed under his uncle Lewis I. Cohen, Samuel Hart, was a prolific and innovative manufacturer of playing cards from 1846-71. The cards were popular for their patriotic themes and were extensively used in the American West.
