Item/Description: Charming framed John Costigan charcoal drawing of beloved pet dog, Pat. Right facing profile. Lifelike detail and hues. Artist's charcoal signature and dedication lower right reads: " Pat " to Mrs. Crosby with kindest regards from J.E. Costigan N.A. 1953.
John Edward Costigan NA (American, 1888-1972) was an American artist. In 1928, he became a member of the National Academy of Design.

Condition: Very Good. Art not examined out of frame. No visible tears, rips, creases. Surface use and age wear includes discoloration, foxing, scuffs, scratches, nicks to frame, tearing away of paper backing to frame.
