Bucolic serene scene of kibbutz worker reading at a picnic table, shaded by his traditional "kova temble" ( kibbutz hat ). Artist signed, dated lower left: M. Guy 2001. En verso the artist identifies the subject as his friend, Yaakov, age 80, also an artist and architect. (Impressionist Figural Landscape Scene)
