David P. Bradley - Smoke Rings - Painting
Item/Description: Original Native American interior scene painting depicts an American Indian artist sitting in his chair, canvas in hand, blowing smoke rings over his shoulder. His side table is sprinkled with paint tubes, pallet and more. On the wall is an open window with a smoking volcano in the distance. Signed and dated right side David P. Bradley (c) 81.
David (Chippewa, b. 1954) is a painter, sculptor and printmaker whose work has been included in numerous traveling exhibitions throughout the US, Canada, Latin America and Europe. Over the years, Bradley has dedicated a large portion of his time and energy to social causes, which improve life for Indian people. He has often taken leadership positions, sometimes at the expense of his own career.
