Central Congo - Kube Mwaash Mask
Item/Description: Ritual dance mask with painted triangular motif, applied cowrie shells, beads, carved wood ears and a hanging strip of animal fur. This type was traditionally used for a royal clan. ( Hamlet, Helmet, Ngaady, Mboma, Mwaash, Kuba King, African Tribal Art)
