A Carved wood and hammered metal ceremonial axe, with some incised designs, interesting form and well handled surface suggesting years of field use. Lozi peoples, South Eastern Africa. The Axe measures 21.5 x 8.5 inches. Provenance: Ex Dr Brian Healy Estate, New York.
