A Highly embellished Gourd vessel with basketry lid, adorned with beaded top, woven grass textiles and animal hide strips decorated with cowrie shells and showing field use and wear. Borana peoples or related ethnic group, Southern Ethiopia / East Africa. The Vessel measures 13.5 inches tall.
