Nepalese LSA Co. Martini-Henry Rifle
.577/450 Martini-Henry. 33" barrel length. SN: NSN. Blued metal finish that has mostly turned to a mottled dark patina. Two piece hardwood stock has a plain straight grip and forearm. Single shot breechloading rifle with lever action, adjustable folding ladder notch rear sight, and a blade front sight. Item features double sling swivels, a bayonet lug, and slotted head cleaning rod. Markings include various British proofs, LSA Co. marks and an 1888 date to receiver, as well as various Nepalese marks to barrel and triggerguard. Includes a black leather sling that is broken.
This lot is located in Cincinnati.
Condition
Good to very good. Bore is frosty, but clean. Finish has a mottled grey-brown appearance overall, with some scattered scratches and pit marks. Wood stock has scratches and mars overall. Sling is broken.
