Antique Chilean Mauser Model 1895
7x57mm. 29" barrel length. SN: G2765. Blued metal finish with polished bolt and buttplate set in a Walnut straight wrist stock with half length upper handguard and mounting adjustable ladder rear notch and front blade sights. Bolt-action internal magazine fed repeating rifle. Left receiver struck with model and manufacturer marking MAUSER CHILENO MODELO 1895/MANUFACTURA LOEWE BERLIN. Top of the receiver shows the {Chilean National Seal}, with scattered {Bullseye} stamps to major parts. Serial numbers do not match. Comes with a leather sling.

Condition
Very Good. Bore is Frosty with some light pitting throughout and strong rifling. Metal finish shows cycling wear to internals with traces of blue at the seams of the stock. A brown patina dominates overall. Stock shows scattered dents, scratches, mars, and some chips. Sling shows abrasions and cracking but the leather remains supple. Front sight blade has been painted white.
