**Ortgies' Patent .25 ACP Pistol 6th Variation by Deutsche Werke
.25 ACP. 3" barrel length. SN: 54933. Blued metal finish with polished barrel mounting smooth walnut grips with {Deutsche Werk} logo grips. Simple blowback operated striker action autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Left slide shows the single line manufacturer marking DEUTSCHE WERKE WERK ERFURT enclosing the company's logo. Right slide is marked ORTGIES' PATENT. Serial numbers match on the frame, slide, and barrel. Item shows standard {Crown/N} firing proofs to the right frame, right slide, and the chamber, the latter above the caliber marking CAL. 6,35 m/m. Underside of the frame shows the export marking GERMANY below the serial number. Initials CRM struck into the underside of the rear frame. Magazine is nickel plated and shows further {Deutsche Werke} logo.

Condition
Very Good. Bore is dirty with dust and residue that should clean to Bright or better with crisp rifling. Metal finish shows light edgewear overall with scattered scratches and mars. Brown patina forming in losses. Some traces of gray patina forming at the edges of the barrel. Grips show some scattered light handling mars.
