Early Remington Model 700 BDL bolt action rifle, .30-06 cal., 22" barrel, blue finish, impress checkered one-piece Monte Carlo stock with an ebony fore end tip, grip cap, sling swivels and period smooth leather rifle sling, hooded brass bead blade front and adjustable U notch rear sights, clear factory markings. The rifle is topped with Weaver two-piece bases, rings and a Tasco 3-9 x 32 variable power rifle scope with a duplex reticle providing bright optics. Mfg in 1965, the rifle is in fine overall condition, retaining 90-95% of the toning factory finish with light wear at the muzzle, showing minor scrapes and scratches. The stock is in very good condition with scratches and indentations. The butt ends with a ventilated rubber recoil pad which is poorly fitted with epoxy around the perimeter, providing a 14.25" LOP. The action functions smoothly and the bore rates very good with defined rifling.
