Baker Gun Co. Sterling Boxlock Single Barrel Trap shotgun, #48891, 12 gauge, 32" vent rib barrel, rust blue finish, checkered walnut two-piece Monte Carlo style stock, beavertail fore end, auto ejector, ivory bead front sight and clear factory markings. Mfg in 1921, the shotgun is in fine overall condition, retaining 90-95% rust blue finish on the barrel with light wear at the muzzle, scratches, and minor handling marks. The receiver retains nearly all the rust blue finish with light scroll and game scene engraving and minor marks. The stock is near fine with indentations, scrapes and ½" wood extension at the butt. The butt ends with a ventilated rubber recoil pad, providing a 14" LOP. The action functions well and locks up securely. The bore is very good, showing light erosion.
