Custom Czech Model VZ 24 Mauser bolt action rifle, .338-06 cal., 24" Douglas Air Gauged barrrel, banded ramped ivory bead blade front and two-folding leaf express rear sights, blue finish, finely checkered deluxe Turkish walnut one-piece stock with ebony fore end tip, blue steel Fischer style grip cap, beaded cheek piece and sling eyes, clear factory markings, with the barrel marked, "G.R. DOUGLAS". The rifle is topped with Talley two-piece bases, quick detach rings and a Leupold VX-3 2.5 x 8 variable power rifle scope with a duplex reticle providing clear, bright optics. The rifle is in near excellent overall condition, retaining 97-98% toning blue finish with light wear at the muzzle and some light surface rust under the front sight. The contoured bolt handle shows some light scratches. The stock is near excellent with minor marks and light indentations. There is a small area of discoloration on the right side of the butt stock. The butt ends with a leather wrapped recoil pad providing a 14" LOP. The bright bore rates near excellent. The action is smooth and the trigger breaks crisply. (Modern/PPT).
