This engraved Remington 1889 Grade 7 SxS exposed hammers shotgun is in fair to good condition displaying engraving to the receiver, side plates, hammers, trigger guard, barrel release lever with the majority of its damascene markings to the shortened barrel assembly. The finely grained hardwood stock & forend are good with worn checkering plus a worn smooth black gutta percha type butt plate missing an old 1/2" x 1/4" chip at the bottom rear area. The markings are good, the left lock is not working (right lock is crisp) & the bores are rough with moderate to heave erosion.
